Our Story

Mohammad Din, a former wrestler from Pakistan and Olympic competitor, transitioned from sports to culinary arts in 1986. Born in India in 1936 and later moving to Pakistan, Mohammad Din was Pakistan's wrestling champion from 1957 to 1960, notably competing in the 1960 Rome Olympics. After retiring in 1961, Mohammad Din moved to Manchester, UK, and founded the Nafees Sweet Centre in 1986, renowned for its traditional sweets. This family-run business, now managed by Din's sons Nadeem, Naveed. and Nafees. It is celebrated for its authentic Eastern flavours and quality, marking over 35 years of legacy in traditional cuisine.
